by Cpl. Robert L. Cook
Jan. 1942~Sept. 1945

I got me this computer,
A good one
You can see.
Only thing about it,
It’s got more brains
Then me.

I try to tell it what to do,
Sometimes it will agree
But mostly it has
A notion
To do what’s right for me.

I argue with it every day,
Mostly I don’t win,
The way that it treats me
It really is a sin.

The thing about it
At this time,
And I really do agree,
I could not get along
Without it
Wherever I may be.

So I guess I will keep it
But do not ask me why,
It is enough
Aggravation
To make a gyrene cry.
