Philosophies are road maps
we use to guide our way,
whatever we're taught
will always with us stay.
Whatever we believe in,
be it god
or a life force
or nothing at all,
we need a hand rail
to keep us off the wall.

To live life without guidance
is to wander thru the mist,
if we don’t know
where we're going
the good life
will be missed.

We must plan our journey,
know the rocks and shoals;
if we're to come to
safe harbor it
must be our goal.

Let nothing ever deter you
from your intended place,
let courage be your
watchword, keep a
smile upon you face.

You were taught
by men of honor
who believed
in the Corps,
let us all remember
to be Marines
evermore.
Semper Fi!
