Well it is starting again
and as sure as sin
we’ll be hearing it
for days to come.

They are standing
around the ring
getting ready to fling
their hats
into the mess
called politics.

There’s a dozen
more or less
all ready to confess
their intentions
for cleaning
up our mess.

Now I ain’t no wizard
as you can easy tell
but I got a notion
just as well
that I’m willing
to share just with you.

First of all
I’m here to tell
we got to take a spell
and devote it to the
good of the nation.

I mean this nation!

I don’t believe it’s written
at least I’ve never seen
where we are begrudging
to set the world aright.

Now we done that for ourselves
and we raised a lot of hell
till we got a fairly decent
kind of world.

Now I ain’t sayin’ it’s perfect,
Lord knows that ain’t true,
but we got a damn good start
and if each do our part
with a little heart we can
have a dream come true.

So first let’s bring
the boys home
get them jobs
they can keep
and put the dollars
where they do most good.

Buy stuff that we need
be it skivvies, cars or seeds
as long as it says:
“MADE IN THE US of A”
OOORAH!
