Jan. 42~Sept. 45
Our flag flies over 'Jimo's site,
That symbol of
A gallant fight.
Though years have passed
Since that event,
And other wars
Have came and went,
Forever will
That monument
Stand for the brave
And true.
We come again
To Independence Day,
(We call it "Fourth a July")
When we are reminded
As a nation
Of victories past.
From Valley Forge
To Cabal
We have proved our
Metal well.
We will not stop
The hot pursuit
'Til all in victory dwell.
This day is opportunity,
To praise the glory
Of the flag.
To hold it high
Against the sky,
Let not our feeling lag.
We need this day of days,
To remember our
Troubled past.
And pray to God
That this will bring
A peace that
Will forever last.
